“Crypto Valley” is a Swiss city, also known as Zug. The city recently completed a feat, which is its first test of a local blockchain voting system.

The city launched an e-voting pilot platform that was established on the blockchain. The purpose of adopting the blockchain was in hope of embracing it. Since the adoption of the technology, it seems that there have been successful results. In the own words of SWI, a news outlet owned by Swiss Broadcasting Corporation.

Due to the positive outcomes, the voting process will stay in place and will be evaluated again. In addition, the government is making efforts to ensure that the voting process is “safer and less susceptible to unnoticed manipulation.”
